Catholic Schools' Week and other Events

(top picture) Andrew Hatterman (Murals by Jericho) was here this week painting our sanctuary to look like marble. He's an awesome artist and Church designer.
(middle picture) Fr. Bob and Fr. Santiago came to visit us from the San Angelo diocese! We had a great visit with them....

(bottom picture) This week for Catholic Schools Week, we were able to tell students about vocations! We had a great week with this!

Pro-Life and Proud to be!

Dear friends,

This is an important time. With our president making executive orders left and right (and some of them are direct hits against the sanctity of life); with the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade last week and many pro-life marches and prayers; with Catholic Schools' Week beginning today -- there is always hope! As one article in a Catholic paper said, "Elect Jesus Christ as the King of the Nation!" We say, "Elect Jesus Christ as King of your hearts!" As long as we cling to the rock of God, we will ALWAYS be okay, no matter what!

God bless you!

Mother Hyacintha - Unofficial Feast Day!

The 3 T's -- Our Foundress, Mother Hyacintha, died this day in 1763. So we celebrate her unofficial Feast Day today! The 3 T's were used during her time for "Theresia, Trienbacher, Tertiary" (her mother's name, 3rd Order of St. Francis). We decided to use this symbol in our newly renovated chapel to remind us of our Mother Foundress and our beginnings.

God bless you all today!

Chapel Renovation on it's Way!

Yes, this picture is kind of dark, but can you see the beautiful new lights, the refinished beams? and the niches for the Stations of the Cross??? We're so excited as the completion of the Chapel Renovation gets closer and closer every day!

Moms are Great!

Sr. Mary Michael's mom is staying with us for a few days. She is something else. She's 80 years old, but she is a tornado in the kitchen. She has to be reminded often to rest because she wants to make bread, salads, desserts, and then more things . . . .

May God bless you all! Thank God for Moms!

Christmas Break - One of our Favorite Times of the Year!

Dear Friends,

We just finished Christmas Break (some of our Sisters work in Catholic Schools). Fortunately, our Sisters live close enough to get to come home about every two weekends. But when everyone is home for a longer period of time, such as Christmas Break, Spring Break, or the summer -- wow. We love it!

It's great to be together as one big family -- work together, eat together, pray together, get closer to God together. . . . It's awesome.

We pray that you too are blessed beyond measure! God's Blessings to you all!
