Merry Christmas!

It's our custom for the "youngest" member to carry the Baby Jesus to his crib in the chapel in a special Christmas procession.
. . . then the Superior takes the Baby Jesus and puts Him in the crib

Our beautiful chapel on Christmas Eve!

Just-a-Bite Dessert Table was a huge success again.
The "Harvest of Blessings" Gala has taken much of our time for the last few weeks. Sorry that the blog has not been kept up!  The gala was a huge success!  May God reward all who helped work, donate, decorate, clean, and everything in between!

Oktoberfest in Dalhart -- Supporting Catholic Schools

Selling tickets and enjoying Oktoberfest in Dalhart this past weekend.
We love going to support school fundraisers, to see our former students,
and to spend time with all the families and friends made along the way.

Sr. M. Celine worked in the kitchen doing dishes at the Dalhart Oktoberfest.
St. Ann's statue was removed from the building the other day.
The bishop has other plans for it.

Vocation Fair, Voting, and How God Works through all of it.

Check out FreedomtotheMax.com!  VOTE!

Franciscan University of Steubenville always has a huge
Vocation Fair.  God is so good!

"Receive Love - Be Love" Come and See Retreat!
It's amazing how God takes willing souls and draws them
in closer to an intimate relationship with Himself.
God is GOOD!
You may wonder what the pictures above have to do with each other, but they are very related.  Trust in God Who is Love Incarnate.  Believe that He is taking care of you (no matter how crazy things may seem at times).  Be a responsible citizen and find out what Candidates stand for and how you want to vote.  God is in control and God is Love!

Eucharistic Procession in the Sheraton Hotel. Yes!

Eucharistic Procession in the Sheraton Hotel???
It's true. This year at the Catholic Media Convention in Dallas, we had Mass in the Sheraton, and then
Jesus was transferred to a smaller chapel for Adoration.  What a sight!  God is amazing.

from the Alexander House
at the Catholic Media Conference.

We're very excited about this year's Benefit Gala!
Hope you can come!
There is so much going on. As we write this blog, we are sad about the news around the world of all the terrorists attacks, violence, and the like.  We are praying hard for the world and all involved with these things as well as our own national election coming up.  God is always in control -- Jesus, We Trust in You!

Besides the Benefit Gala coming up November 17 (Mark your calendar!!!), we are also preparing for our "Receive Love - Be Love" Come and See Retreat coming up in October.   Please help pray for this retreat, the retreaters, and that God will fill them with an amazing awareness of God's Love!

Please help us pray as well for all the people who ask us for prayers.  May God bless you all!  God is good!

God is SO good!

Here in Red River, this dear is looking for food between St. Francis and Mary.  Smart animal.

While in Red River, sometimes bears like to come visit the cabin we stay in.
He knew to visit Mary while he was there.

This year during our vacation, we stopped in Santa Fe, NM.
Sr. Mary Jude is posing with her cowboy friend.

Several Sisters went to Red River for vacation again this year. Always awesome!

For Sr. Jean Marie's Feast Day, we did a little skit.  Never know what you'll see in the convent. . . .

The CSC (Catholic Student Center) from WTAMU came for their annual Leadership Retreat.
Here they are doing a little service project helping the Sisters shuck corn.  God bless them and all they serve!

Congratulations to Sr. Claire Marie for her Renewal of Vows on August 11!!!

Bishop Patrick Zurek, Bishop of Amarillo, and Fr. Mieczyslaw of St. Theresa's parish graced us with their
presence the other night for a wonderful evening of food and fellowship.  God bless them!

Hmm....  Why is there water standing in the front when we haven't had any rain?
Oops.  Call the plumber!
Rosary Garden before new grass

Rosary Garden now!!!
As you can see from the above pictures, we've been busy!  God bless you all! We are praying for you!
