Our Chapel -- Oh the Beauty!

The furniture is all moved in -- we've spent the last 5 days DEEP cleaning . . . . We're almost ready to move in!
Lent has begun. May Mary help us all to have a very fruitful Lent. Here is a prayer of St. Francis: Almighty, Eternal God, enlighten the darkness of my heart. Give me right faith, certain hope, and perfect charity. Give me insight, Lord, so that I may always know your holy and true Will!

Chapel Renovation -- very close to being finished!

The cleanup process has been tiring . . .
The back wall mural will not be here for another 2-3 months. The statues for the niches will not be here for about 3 months. Until then, we will still have a BEAUTIFUL chapel to pray in. It's amazing how much an atmosphere can affect the way one prays. This is where we pray for all of you!
Praised be Jesus Christ!

God is SO good!

We just had the most amazing weekend! We went to a conference where they explored "Our Lady in Scripture". Wow. It was definitely a retreat for us. We were able to take 12 Sisters. Mary is our personal mother, who was gazing at us with love long before we gazed back at her!

Mary, pray for us! We love you too!

Time is Flying By . . .

Time flies by when you're having fun!

We have been having so much fun we forgot to update the blog. . .

The Super Bowl was great. It's always a good feeling to see teamwork in action.

The Chapel Renovation is getting closer and closer to getting finished. See the picture above of the floor going in. The whole thing is so beautiful.

Know that you are in our prayers -- God bless you all!

Catholic Schools' Week and other Events

(top picture) Andrew Hatterman (Murals by Jericho) was here this week painting our sanctuary to look like marble. He's an awesome artist and Church designer.
(middle picture) Fr. Bob and Fr. Santiago came to visit us from the San Angelo diocese! We had a great visit with them....

(bottom picture) This week for Catholic Schools Week, we were able to tell students about vocations! We had a great week with this!

Pro-Life and Proud to be!

Dear friends,

This is an important time. With our president making executive orders left and right (and some of them are direct hits against the sanctity of life); with the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade last week and many pro-life marches and prayers; with Catholic Schools' Week beginning today -- there is always hope! As one article in a Catholic paper said, "Elect Jesus Christ as the King of the Nation!" We say, "Elect Jesus Christ as King of your hearts!" As long as we cling to the rock of God, we will ALWAYS be okay, no matter what!

God bless you!

Mother Hyacintha - Unofficial Feast Day!

The 3 T's -- Our Foundress, Mother Hyacintha, died this day in 1763. So we celebrate her unofficial Feast Day today! The 3 T's were used during her time for "Theresia, Trienbacher, Tertiary" (her mother's name, 3rd Order of St. Francis). We decided to use this symbol in our newly renovated chapel to remind us of our Mother Foundress and our beginnings.

God bless you all today!
